Body & Somatic Psychotherapy in Fleet and Basingstoke

Approach

People come to me for many reasons. You might be feeling stressed, anxious, low, numb or lost. Perhaps you're grieving, facing relationship challenges or living with chronic pain. These challenges don't just live in our thoughts; they shape how we breathe, move, and hold tension. While traditional talk therapy is valuable, true transformation happens when we include the body in the conversation.

Through Body Psychotherapy, integrating Somatic Therapy, we listen to your whole self - meeting what you carry with care, curiosity, and respect for your pace.

I offer sessions both in-person and online.

What I Offer

My work is grounded in both the mind and body, and is about helping you find your way back to yourself.

I offer three complementary ways of working, which can be combined or explored on their own.

Body Psychotherapy

Helps uncover what’s beneath recurring feelings or patterns such as anxiety, sadness, or inner conflict.

Coaching

Brings clarity and direction to everyday life and work, helping you navigate change with more confidence and self-trust.

Biodynamic Massage

A restorative form of touch that supports both physical and emotional release, helping you to unwind, rest, and reconnect with a deeper sense of calm and wellbeing.

What to Expect

Each session is different, because you are different each time we meet. I don’t follow a set method — instead, we work with what is closest to the surface and feels ready to be met.

My Story

Hello, my name is Ingrid Wienholts, founder of Wild Rose Body Psychotherapy. The rose speaks to beauty and growth; the wild to strength and freedom. Together they capture the essence of my work - finding resilience and wholeness by returning to our natural, authentic selves.

I believe that healing begins when we stop trying to fix ourselves and start listening — with curiosity, compassion, and patience. My work is grounded in the belief that we all have an innate capacity to heal and grow, even when life feels overwhelming or painful.
