Body Psychotherapy

All work is trauma-informed, which means that I’ll support you to explore what feels safe and manageable, without pressure or overwhelm. The aim is to help you reconnect with yourself, restore emotional flow, and experience change that feels both grounded and authentic.
I offer body psychotherapy sessions in-person as well as online.
Body Psychotherapy works with the deep connection between body, mind, and emotions. While traditional talking therapies focus primarily on thoughts, feelings, and personal insight, Body Psychotherapy work also includes physical sensations, posture, breath, and internal body awareness. It’s based on the understanding that emotional experiences can be held in the body, creating tension or disconnection. By helping the body process and release these patterns, Body Psychotherapy supports greater emotional balance, vitality, and self-understanding.
What it can help with
Body Psychotherapy can support people experiencing:
• Anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem
• Trauma, grief, or emotional overwhelm
• Stress, fatigue, or physical tension linked to emotions
• Chronic pain and other persistent symptoms
• Relationship difficulties or feelings of disconnection
• A sense of being “stuck” despite insight or previous therapy
